Migration motivation and psychosocial issues of Internally Displaced People: A close-up from Homs, Syria

The Syrian conflict led to a countrywide realignment in both territorial and demographic traits with catastrophic consequences for the population. More than 6,6 million people were forced leave their homeland, further 6,9 became Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). Lately, subsequent consolidation of population ensued, which witnessed partial self-repatriation IDPs. Here, we report preliminary results study explore migration motives framework repatriation aid programme provided these was coordinated by Melkite Greek Catholic Archeparchy Homs around city Homs.
